LUUN™ protects your privacy and always strives for a high level of data protection. This means that, for example, we would never sell your personal data to another company. In this privacy policy, we explain how LUUN collects and uses your personal information. It also describes your rights to your personal data. It is important that you understand the privacy policy and feel safe in our processing of your personal information. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT IS PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is any kind of information that can be used to identify an individual. This may include information such as names, pictures and email addresses. Encrypted data and electronic identities, such as IP addresses and cookies that can be used to identify a natural person, are also counted as personal data.

Processing of personal data is everything that is done to the personal data. Examples of common processing is collection, storage, transfer and deletion.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERSONAL DATA THAT LUUN COLLECTS?

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES LUUN COLLECT AND HOW IS IT PROCESSED?

Purpose

To handle purchases.

Data processing

  • Delivery (including notification and contact regarding delivery).
  • Identification and age control.
  • Handling of payments (including analysis of possible payment solutions which can contain a check against payment history and credit reports).
  • Handling of complaint and warranty issues.

Category of personal data

  • Name
  • Contact information (for example address, e-mail and telephone number).
  • Payment information.
  • Purchase information (for example ordered item or if item is to be shipped to another address).

Legal basis: Completion of the purchase agreement. The collection of your personal data is required to fulfil our obligations under the purchase

Retention period: Until the purchase has been completed (including delivery and payment) and for a period of 3 years (according to the Consumer Buying Act), thereafter it’s stored in order to handle any complaints and warranty issues.

Purpose

To fulfill the company's legal obligations.

Data processing

  • Necessary handling for compliance with the company's legal
    obligations under legal, judicial or governmental decisions
    (eg the Accounting Act, Money Laundering Act or Product Liability Rules and Product Safety,
    which may require communication and information to the public and customers about product
    alarms and product revocation in case of a defect or health hazard).

Legal basis: Legal obligation. This collection of your personal data is required by law. If the information is not provided, our legal obligation cannot be met, and we are therefore forced to refuse your purchase.

Retention period: Until the purchase has been completed (including delivery and payment) and for a period of 7 years thereafter.

Purpose

In order to handle customer service issues.

Data processing

  • Communication and response of any questions to customer service (in digital channels, including social media).
  • Identification.
  • Investigation of possible complaints and support cases (including technical support).

Category of personal data

  • Name
  • Contact information (for example address, e-mail and telephone number).
  • Your correspondence
  • Details of purchase date, place of purchase, possible errors/complaints

Legal basis: Legitimate interest. The processing is necessary to meet our and your legitimate interest in handling customer service matters.

Retention period: Until the customer service matter has been completed and up to 3 years for historical purposes.

Purpose

In order to conduct and manage participation in competitions.

Data processing

  • Communication before and after participation in a competition (for example address for delivery of prize).
  • Publication of winner on LUUN’s Instagram page, at LUUN.com and in the newsletter.
  • The choice of winner and the transfer of any winnings.

  • Name
  • Instagram account.
  • Email address
  • Contact information to winner (address and telephone number).
  • Picture(s)

Retention period: Contest contributions in the form of images may be shown on LUUN’s webpage but may be requested to be removed by send a request to contact@LUUN.se. Contact information to the winner is saved up to 3 years for warranty issues.

Purpose

In order to send out weekly newsletters to subscribers with special offers.

Data processing

  • Saving and using email addresses for emailing out the newsletter
  • Saving of email addresses that have unsubscribed to the newsletter,and should not get the email
  • Deletion of unsubscribers

  • Email address

Legal basis: Legitimate interest. The processing of email addresess only occurs when you sign up as a subscriber to the newsletter and is necessary to meet our and your interest in managing your subscription to the newsletters.

Retention period: Throughout the subscription period. It’s possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter whenever you feel like it. Email addresses for people who have unsubscribed may be saved up to 1 year before deletion.

Purpose

Retargeting purposes (marketing on Facebook and Instagram).

Data processing

  • Saving and processing of cookies for showing marketing content on Facebook and Instagram

Category of personal data

  • Cookies

Legal basis: Consent. A first-time visitor to LUUN’s webpage must give consent for cookies. The consent can be revoked at any time through the settings on the visitor’s browser.

Storage period: From collection and for a period of up to 6 months.

Purpose

To prevent abuse of a service or to prevent and investigate crimes against the company.

Data processing

  • Prevention and investigation of possible fraud or other offenses.
  • Protect and improve our IT environment from attack and intrusion.

Category of personal data

  • Purchase and user generated data on webpage (for example click and visit history).
  • Technical data relating to devices used and its settings (for example IP address and platform).
  • Information on how our digital services are used.

Legal basis: Completion of legal obligation (if any) or justified interest. If no legal obligation exists, treatment is necessary to meet our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of a service or preventing and investigating violations of the company.

Storage period: From collection and for a period of 2 years thereafter.

WHO MAY LUUN SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
In some cases, it is necessary for LUUN to divulge your personal information; these companies are called Data Processors. Data Processors handle personal data on LUUN’s behalf in accordance with LUUN’s instructions. LUUN has Data Processors who help LUUN with:

  • Transport (logistics).
  • Payment solutions (card-insolvent companies, banks, and other payment service providers).
  • Marketing (print and distribution, social media, media agencies or advertising agencies).
  • IT services (companies that handle necessary operations, technical support and maintenance of our IT solutions).



When LUUN transfers personal data to a Data Processor, it only takes place for the original purpose of collecting the personal data from the beginning. In most cases, this purpose relates to LUUN’s commitment to maintain its part of the purchase agreement when a customer has made a purchase. Written agreements are established with all Data Processors where guarantees are given for the personal data being handled only for the agreed purpose and the security of the personal data.

LUUN sometimes transfers personal data to other companies that are Data Controllers, like LUUN. This means that it is not LUUN that determines how the personal data will be handled by the other company. Data Controllers that LUUN shares personal information with are:

  • Companies that deal with general freight transport (logistics companies and freight forwarders).
  • Businesses offering payment solutions (card-insolvent companies, banks and other payment service providers).
  • Government authorities (police, tax authorities or other authorities) if we are required to do so by law or in the event of suspected crime.



WHERE DOES LUUN PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
LUUN always strives to process personal data within the EU / EEA. However, some support and maintenance may require personal data to be transferred to a non-EU country, for example, if we share personal data with a Data Processor that, either by itself or through a subcontractor, stores information outside of EU/EES. The level of protection of personal data is guaranteed through approved code of conduct in the recipient country, standard contract clauses, binding company internal rules or Privacy Shield in these cases.

HOW LONG IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA STORED?
LUUN never stores personal data longer than necessary for each respective purpose. You can read more about the retention periods under each corresponding purpose.

HOW ARE COOKIES USED?
Cookies are small text files compiled of letters and numbers that are sent from LUUN’s webservers and are saved in your web browser or devise when you visit LUUN.com. Some of our services requires cookies to function properly, while some improve the services we provide. Some cookies are used to give us analytical information regarding your use of our services, and some are used to give you relevant marketing. It’s important for you to know that you can always change your settings for cookies in your browser. For example, you can change the setting to only use first-party cookies or delete cookies after you close your browser. Please be aware that some of LUUN’s services may not function properly if cookies are blocked or deleted.


YOUR RIGHT TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
As a data subject you have rights to your personal data. You have the right to get information about whether LUUN handles your personal data or not, and a right to access the personal data that LUUN is processing. Furthermore, you have the right to request your personal data to be corrected if it is incorrect and request it removed if you believe that your personal data is processed unlawfully or object on legitimate grounds to its processing. Please keep in mind that we may have the right to deny your request if there are legal obligations that prevents us from deleting some personal data.
